Link Standards and Objectives

Once a Lesson Plan is created, teachers can link their listed Standards and Objectives to assessment items throughout the Lesson to track students' mastery.

Within the Lesson Creator, add an assessment and choose "Assessment Tools" at the bottom right corner of the grey editing box.

Then, choose "Link Standard" or "Link Objective" and choose the appropriate option for that question. You can only choose one standard and one objective per assessment question.
Use Assessment Tools to Link Standard

Select Appropriate Standard from Lesson Plan

Selected Standard will Appear Tagged to the Question

Only the Standards and Objectives already listed in the Lesson Planner will be available.
When students answer questions linked to a Standard, the Lesson Engine will collect information on their mastery and report it in Standards Scores. You can also access a map of the location and frequency of the standards you're linking to in the Standards Summary. Linking assessments to Objectives doesn't collect any special data, but it can help you keep track of which questions address your Objectives while building your Lesson.
