To create a Unit or Lesson Plan for your content in the Lesson Engine, click the cog next to the name of the Unit or Lesson and choose "Unit Planner" or "Lesson Planner" from the drop down menu.
You can add standards, objectives, assessments, etc. to detail the Unit or Lesson to come.
Adding Standards
In a Unit or Lesson Planner, teachers can select any Common Core State Standard, College Readiness Standard, Next Generation Science Standard, or other specific State Standard. This will allow you to align Assessment Items to standards in the Lesson Creator for you to track!
Click on the Pencil Icon to edit the Standards on the right hand side of the Lesson Planner. Then, click on the search icon to select a standard.
Once you have selected the category of standard you would like to include, you can search through those standards by Title or by Keyword, as shown below.
Once the Standard is chosen and added to a Lesson Plan, it can then be linked to Assessment Items in the Lesson Creator.
