Different Items have different editing options, all of which are found at the top and bottom of the grey item boxes on the right side of the Lesson Creator.
At the top of Paragraph boxes, for example, you can:

Click Text to change the background color

Click Normal to change all text to bold

Click Justify to change the alignment of the text to left, center, or right

Delete with the trash can
At the bottom of Paragraph boxes, you can:

Bold or Italicize words by highlighting them and choosing the "B" or "I," respectively.

Add a hyperlink by highlighting words and clicking "Link"

Add a symbol to create equations and formulas by choosing "Sym." button, which will open an Equation Editor

Add a Citation by clicking on the button to the right
