The following tools are available to both students and teachers as they interact with lesson text after clicking into a Lesson Page. You can click or tap on any Lesson text to access the menu of Text Tools.
Add Bookmark
Adding a bookmark places a small red flag at the beginning of the paragraph, which allows you to easily locate and return to text at a later time.
Note & Highlight
These features enable you to annotate the text by typing into the Note field or highlighting words, sentences, or entire paragraphs. Once complete, students select Close, and all Notes and Highlights are saved for both the student and teacher to view.
Copy Text
With the Copy Text feature, you can select desired text, Copy the Highlighted Text, and Paste into any Assessment, Discussion, or Note field. This action is sometimes difficult on mobile devices, so the Copy option should make it easier within MT ONE.
Speak It
You can use the Speak It button to have the text read aloud, including assessment questions.
View in Spanish
This button will translate all Lesson text and assessment questions into Spanish. Selecting Speak It when viewing Lesson text in Spanish will read the text aloud in Spanish. At any time, students can return to English.
