Students have a couple options if they would like to notify the teacher of a personal question or issue. As briefly mentioned in Level 1 of this MT ONE training course, students can digitally raise their hand or send a message privately to the teacher.
When they do so, a red circle will appear in the corner of your Class View icon, the 3x3 grid in the upper right corner of your Teach view.
Click on the grid to enter your Class View.
Beneath the students’ names, you can see which Lesson they are working on and how many pages they have completed (Lesson Progress). You can also see the Raised Hand Notification, which indicates that a student has a question. Once you have checked in with the student, you can click the icon to reset it. You may also click this icon to remind yourself to check in with a student.
On this page you can also see the Unread Message icon, shown as a number in a red circle next to a student’s name. This icon indicates that the student has sent you a message.
